MAJA OSOJNIK
Vienna based musician Maja Osojnik is well-known as recorder player, singer, composer, electronic musician appearing in several projects in early, contemporary and extreme music.
She completed the masterclass of recorder and IGP-diploma at University of music and performing arts Vienna with distinction and studied jazz singing at University of music and
Private University Conservatorium Vienna.

SKE-Publicity Award [with Low Frequency Orchestra] 2007; 3. Prize and Composition Award of 'Gradus ad Parnassum' 2003; IYAP - EM [1. Prize with Ensemble MIKADO] 2004;
"Voices" - Jazz Fest Vienna Award 2005; Bank Austria Artist of the Year 2008/09; Prize Composition Scholarship from State of Austria and Pasticcio Award (OE1/ORF) with Ensemble MIKADO for the
CD 'Can she excuse?' 2009; MIA Award [award for women with migration background in Austria who achieved "Outstanding for and in Austria"] 2010.
She performs all over Europe at well-established festivals with different music projects - Rdeča Raketa, Maja Osojnik Band, Ensemble MIKADO, FRUFRU, Subshrubs,
Aus dem Mund, broken.heart.collector, Low Frequency Orchestra, Binar, Edward and the innocent Bystanders, Balkon and is part of many other projects as guest musician.

*1981 in Bilčovs, lives and works in Vienna, Austria. Studied computer music and double bass. Works in the field of improvised & contemporary composed music.
